Three lines model paradigm shift: a blockchain-based control framework

Purpose While the three lines model (TLM) provides an organizational structure to execute risk and control duties, research practice show limitations in model's implementation. These result governance issues. Such issues, together with weaknesses, could be addressed by leveraging properties of distribution, transparency, immutability blockchain technology. To this end, paper authors propose a conceptual framework based on technology augment practice.
